What is a fundraiser?
- A fundraiser is a structured activity designed to raise funds to benefit an organization.
- Why would we need to do a fundraiser?
- If your school, church, or group needs money to: pay for computers, uniforms, athletic equipment or musical instruments; go on field trips; participate in competitions; buy playground equipment; or for similar purposes; you will benefit from arranging a fundraiser.
- How do we know which program to choose?
- Our experienced consultants will design a program that fits your needs. We consider your goals, your geographic area, any competition from other schools or organizations, the number of participants you expect and many other factors that might affect your success.
- What kind of profit can we expect to make on a fundraiser?
- You can expect from 40% to 50% based upon the program/product you select.
- How long should a fundraiser last?
- Fundraisers should run a minimum of ten days and no longer than two weeks. Allow for your fundraiser to span at least two weekends.
- Do you provide any prizes or incentives?
- Yes. We have carefully designed various prize/incentive programs to help you get the maximum sales for your group.
- How much does it cost to do a fundraiser?
- Nothing! Theres no charge for the materials you need. We supply them.
- Whom should we sell to?
- People in the neighborhood, parents, friends, relatives, local businesses, supporters, anyone who might be interested in your fundraising product! As a safety precaution, we do not recommend allowing children to go door to door. We have found that children usually ask their parents to help, including asking neighbors, friends, relatives and co-workers for orders.
- When do we need to collect the money on the products sold?
- Past experience leads us to recommend that you collect the money at the time of sale. This eliminates having to go back to collect later. It also prevents you from being stuck with unpaid merchandise, which will cut into your profit.
- If were given a check to pay for the product, to whom should it be made payable?
- Make checks payable to your school or organization.
- Once we place the order with you, how long before we receive the merchandise?
- Based upon the program/product selected, your merchandise will be delivered between two to three weeks.
- When do we pay The Promotion Source?
- Arrangements are made according to the customer. If a recognized school group supplies us with a purchase order, they pay us when the product is delivered. Different arrangements will be discussed with each group on an individual basis.
- What method of payment do you accept?
- We accept a check, major credit cards or a debit card.
- Are there any costs for shipping?
- Most programs provide FREE shipping. Product that needs to be shipped by refrigerated truck may have a small shipping charge.
